Peace of mind, built in
Your studio is personal.
We built it to stay that way.
Sharing from your Mac should feel easy and safe. Local Studio pairs private sharing controls and account protection with a secure Cloudflare connection, with no router or network settings to change.
How the public connection works
Your Mac stays private.
Your clients see your galleries.
Your Mac reaches out to Cloudflare and creates a private, secure link. Clients visit your web address, and Cloudflare passes along only the galleries you share. Read Cloudflare’s documentation ↗

Who is Cloudflare?
The same protection
big names rely on.
Cloudflare is one of the world’s largest internet security companies. Its network handles roughly 20% of the web, keeping sites fast and protected from attacks. Local Studio uses Cloudflare to deliver your galleries safely. About Cloudflare ↗
These companies use Cloudflare for their own services, as described in Cloudflare’s customer stories ↗. They are not Local Studio customers, and Local Studio is not affiliated with Cloudflare.
Layers you can understand
Protection around the connection.
Control inside the app.
01 / ADMINISTRATOR ACCESSYour dashboard is for you alone.
Sign in at your Mac or from anywhere at your web address. Away from your Mac, sign-ins can also ask for your sign-in email, and the optional sign-in code from an authenticator app on your phone adds an extra layer of protection.
02 / CLIENT PRIVACYYou decide what’s shared.
Drafts stay private until you share them. Choose exactly which files go into each client delivery or your portfolio, then add a gallery password and an expiration date.
03 / TRAFFIC LIMITSBusy days stay smooth.
Built-in traffic limits keep your Mac responsive, even when a gallery is popular. By default, five whole-gallery downloads can run at once, one per visitor, for up to 30 minutes each. You can change this in Server settings.
04 / LOCAL CONTROLSPrivate settings stay on your Mac.
Edit and upload from anywhere, while connection and server settings live only in the Mac app. Visitors see only the galleries and portfolio you publish, never Finder or the other files on your Mac.
